The thing is, though: I haven't done much translation before this, and I'm fairly certain I messed something up here or there. I have no sure-fire way of checking if the sentences I had issues with are entirely correct (other than to deduce it from the game's context, I guess, which does help). But at least the text won't look out of place if there are mistakes.

It actually doesn't help that the game is entirely in kana. Sure, it's easier to read, but if I don't understand certain words, they can sometimes end up meaning many things. (Kanji in these cases would have given me a much clearer indication of the meaning.) So for some sentences with several words like that, it sort of became guesswork and deducing from the context and Googling to see how sites used the combination (if any). I tried my best to make the right choices, though.

Update:
I liked translating this game's first chapter! It's very charming. So now I'll be translating the rest, too. This game deserves to be enjoyed by more people.
