Gaming Transfering titles

Getting a vita soon, first thing I'm gonna do is get star wars battle front 2 , the thing is I am eager to play it and might buy it on ps3, If I buy it on ps3 can I transfer it to the vita?

as long a the PSN account that bought the game is the same on both systems it should be ok
but
remember that many psp games (and ps1 games) can NOT be transfered to the vita
