Hacking Transfering ds emulator save files to r4

When i play a game such as Pokemon pearl on an emulator on my computer and save it, is it possible for me to take that save file and transfer it over to my r4 and continue playing that same save file on my DS with the actual pokemon pearl game in my ds?
