Hacking Touch screen problens

My problem: I tried to hardmod my N3DS, with the help of a friend who knew welding, we put the cables as in the tutorial. When fixing on the PC appeared the blue screen but did not recognize as a removable disk, after removing the adapter and close the console the touch screen only works in the lower right part, could it have been flat cable?

Sorry you broke it, throw it away and buy another one.

Check the touch screen ribbon cable connector is properly fit, if it still doesn't work then the touchscreen is probably ruined, and would require a replacement.

Probably just need to check the touchscreen ribbon. If it is faulty , it's a simple fix and new replacement touch screen only costs $4
