Hacking Touch screen not working

My DSI touch screen has stopped working and DSI doesn't get past the health and safety message. Also the left/right/up/down button doesn't work. I have been using an Acekard. Are there any known problems that might cause this? It doesn't even work when ACekard is not in the machine, the camera still works with the buttons but not the screen.

Any ideas anyone?

Time to make use of that 1year warranty maybe?

Yeah sent it back but online site says there was no problem so looks like intermittent fault. Just wanted to check it was nothing to do with the Acekard.

How does it work on the DSi? On my Lite it will get past that message with any button, or if I leave it like that for a short time. Touching the screen is not necessary. Unless it's different on the DSi, maybe it's not that touch screen that's broken.

you may need to recalibrate the touch screen
