anyone know what's happened to the game?
Even though I was hoping they'd make a traditional top gear game like their kickass GBA top gear, I still really hope this game comes out.

The official website for it was taken down last month. Also the publisher ShadeTree has apparently ceased to be and the developer Tantalus Interactive haven't updated their site since last year.

Perhaps it'll never come out.

take a look at this and this~
Well the gamestats say 31st December 2008 so that's obviously not true & Chaos.com has always gotten things wrong.

I'd love their date to be true though.

I sent tantalus an email, I'll let you guys know if I get a response.
This was/is one of the games I'd gladly buy

edit-
Just throw a couple Z's in the title and I bet Ubisoft would love to publish it

If you people are really desperate for it...why not try the japnese version (localised as Top Gear Downforce)

Release #/name:
0967
Simple DS Series: Volume 13: Ijoukishou wo Tsuppashire! The Arashi no Drift Rally

Alrighty, the game is pretty fun so far.
doesn't look like any language options tho.. they must be in there somewhere considering tantalus is an australian company...

I personally think that this game was not developed by Tantalus but published by them instead. Why would they have Japnese release months before English, it does not make sense.

that game reminds me of an old PC classic: ignition... so, im SO gonna download it now... (my DVD drive died, so i cant search my DVDs for it T_T).

thx for the info.

Perhaps they just bought the rights to the game and localised it?
