when i run the command i get this:

Did you install the dependencies as listed on the GitHub? That looks like a pyusb or libusb error.

I did indeed, including updating pip.
I’ve ran them all again and still get the same error.

all sorted, libusb wasn't linked to python for some reason.
all working good now

My Mac is mid 2014.

Problem is: 4. Install tkinter: python3 -mpip install tkinter

I type python3 -mpip install tkinter

And I got this message:

Collecting tkinter

Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement tkinter (from versions: )

No matching distribution found for tkinter

Ignore it.
I also got an error with installing tkinter, but as the step says "it's usually already included in most python3 installation" I ignored the error and just used the tool anyway.

Worked flawlessly.

Never mind. Your site is for PC so I found one for macOS.

The repository you forked of has relicensed to GPLv2 some 6 months ago. While I don't think it's mandatory, you should also relicense.

And it is intermezzo.bin. and ReiNX.bin. Ignored intermezzo.bin and click ReiNX.bin, right ?

If I shut Switch down after ReinX and I have to do it all over to jailbreak it to run ReiNX ?

Yes. It is lost upon rebooting and the payload must be resent to run CFW again.

Thank you for alerting me. From what I understand, as long as I don't pull new code from upstream (i.e., the code that the new license applies to) I don't think it is an issue. Regardless, I don't want to step on any toes and certainly want to give correct attribution to the projects I work off of. When I get a chance what with work and other stuff going on for me, I'll look into the correct license for me to use.

That's what I do. My CFW Switch hasn't been rebooted in almost a month.

What about the battery ? What if I don't use it for few months while it is in sleep mode just in case ?

The battery will drain in sleep mode if it's not in the dock or plugged in. There's no real way around that. I don't know what your situation is, but I just keep it docked and in sleep mode when it's not in use.
