Ah, Super Robot Taisen. How I wish this series would come to America/Europe.

For anyone who's wondering, imagine Advance Wars, but with robots instead of tanks.

So an ugly looking Advance Wars... no thankyou. Advance Wars is great, but it is the only one that is.

I love these games, where else can you get Ghetter Robo, Mazinger, and Gundams all together? (Okay, I could do without the gundams, but still.)

Any word on which series appear in this one? From the icons it looks like Gundams...

The games always were more about the nostalgia of all your favorite robots bashing each other, than being powerhouse graphic machines. Battles, like Advance wars, when initiated take place it different screens (if this is anything like the other Super RObot Taisen games) which have chibi versions of the mecha going at it.

hmm the rom doesn't work on my vboy (1.7.2), All I seem to get is a blank (black) screen. The file isn't corrupt either...

Try changing the Save Type to Automatic - Flash 64k

This is the Original Generation installment; so all the cast in this game is not from any animes out there (Hence the title Original Generation)
