I'm pretty sure this is the correct thread to ask about this.

I've successfully uninstalled CBHC and migrated to tiramisu successfully. I accidentally installed the HBL to my USB storage instead of NAND. I went into the WiiU Data Management to delete it so I could then reinstall it to the NAND. While browsing the files on my NAND I noticed that there is a "DONT TOUCH ME" app installed.

I'm just trying to confirm if this is a new iteration that was installed with & used by Tiramisu
or
if this is somehow leftover from my old CBHC (which I'm 99.99% sure I deleted per the Tiramisu setup guide).

If it's part of Tiramisu, then obviously I'll leave it. But if it's leftover from CBHC, I'd like to remove it. Thanks in advance!

This is haxchi. Make sure you don't see the "Autobooting..." screen anymore. After that, you can uninstall it safely.
Thank you so much! I was obviously nervous what with the chance of bricking my wiiu if I had deleted it improperly. Confirmed I had no more CBHC autoboot screen and successfully deleted this leftover instance of DONT TOUCH ME!

Now I'm curious why this was still installed after I was 99.99% sure I had deleted it after switching to tiramisu... but thats moot at this point either way now. Thanks again for the help!

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
