I have Tinfoil and JackintheShop on the switch but is there something like this for the 3ds? I heard Freeshop is dead. Any Idea?

Now nintendo's CDN checks the ticket, If it's invalid They refuse to give you files. and since Freeshop creates their own ticket it's invalid. All of the homebrew app that download things from nintendo's CDN is unusuable.

Freeshop equivalent no you will never see something that use the same method of CDN download again, but someone possibly could create something like Tinfoil to redirect game being download from another location where it would be hosted but the 3ds no longer release new games so it might not be worth the trouble.

And it's just easy to download .3ds/.cia anyways

Yes it's all dead and there won't be another thing like it unless someone decides to host their own giant archive of all 3DS games and software which would definitely not end well for them, it's not that hard to just find the files in other places and install them with FBI if you really have to pirate your games...

Thanks! I am going to be use a cia with rom sites. Know anybody a good rom site?

technically, tinfoil is more of a online downloader from outside sources. Aka
tinfoil is not equivalent to freeshop.
as tinfoil doesn't download from Nintendo's cdn.
Probably the reason why is a lack of interest. Also the 3ds hardware is horrendously slow. So downloading anything on that thing would be a pain. Unless some dev went crazy, and some how managed to make their own patch to the 3ds sleep download process that would work with this homebrew app. But it would only make the process even slower so.... idk

I has been tried once already and it died before even an official anouncement for that very reason, it was hella slow.
