Apple Tilt to live multiplayer

Those who played this game must admit that it is awesome. The addition of the lcoal multiplayer is even awesomer. But there is no online play!!!
So my question is does anyone now how to make Ur internet and another persons Internet (say in another state) be able to think of themselves as local so u can play together??

Local multiplayer tends to either connect with Bluetooth or WiFi in ad-hoc mode. I don't think ad-hoc can be emulated over a VPN ( like hamachi or Xlink Kai), but I don't know enough to say for sure.
