All of a sudden, my apps died.
Going into Data Management they all show up as ? marks.
Do I have to restart everything anew? I can reinstall FBI though the HBL, right? That's all I care about.

Unsigned CIA's cannot be accessed through sysNAND alone. The icons will show but they will have no banner and cannot be launched. We need more information about your 3ds if anyone is to be able to help you. Do you have any CFW installed? If so, are you trying to access them through sysNAND or emuNAND?

Are you trying to access your CIAs through sysNAND or emuNAND?

If this happen on sysNAND, this means sigcheck aren't patched. Reboot with Pasta, and it should be fine.
If it is on emuNAND, it's really strange. What CFW are you using?

EDIT: Well, that's weird. Are your NANDs unlinked? And does the "Rei" appears instead of "ver" when you go into System Settings?

Sounds like something got corrupted in your SD card. Did you backup your emunand and SD card before this happened? If you did you can just format and restore everything.

Well, maybe you can try to install SysUpdater with FBI through the Homebrew Launcher, and then downgrade to 10.3 (using the update packs from the iso site)...

(backup your emuNAND before that, to free up some space copy some folders from the 3ds folder on your PC and delete them)

AS a last resort, I injected FBI into Health. Well, can I install the app itself? Because installing FBI via FBI gives me a wrong argument error. Probably because it's trying to install itself twice.
EDIT: after launching, every app disappeared permanently. Either way I guess they're just gone.

That's a pretty poor excuse to not backup imo. Next time you should use emuNANDTool to backup your emuNAND as it creates the backup on your PC and not your SD card. Let us know if you get everything working again.

It fails as a virus detected. That's why I tried EmuNAND9. Can't get around it since I'm not an admin of the computer but that's a bad excuse too, right?


Anyway, yep. Everything is better. I had to restart the entire CIA process. HS is now FBI and my Smash replays are gone.

When you try to download it or when you run it? If its the download site that's triggering your AV, I have the latest version hosted on MEGA.

Also, sorry if what I said sounded rude, that's not how I meant it. Just meant that there are a few other options to backup your emuNAND.
