there are no fake acekards as already stated. there was a batch of dstt and edge cards which shipped with the wrong sticker on them. this is due to high volume dealers receiving flash kits and stickers separate. someone, someone dumb, applied the wrong sticker to the kits. so when you read the reports of the "fake white acekard" it was a dstt in the hands of a user to stupid to debug it before adding petrol to the flames.

the r4 ultra (and another) were based off stuff purchased from team acekard. as i recall it the r4i is based off another kit, i can't recall which one. so you could in a sense call these clones and they will run the older unblocked versions of the akaio firmware. it wouldn't be to difficult for a retailer to pass them off as acekards if they could provide a legit sticker.

i will also second the dealextreme idea. while it may take up to 3 weeks to get your package they have great customer support and have never failed me.

Id go with Dealextreme too. I think they have the best prices compared to anywhere else. You might have to wait a couple of weeks for it to arrive, but you save so much money buying from them.

The one I bought from Deal Extreme looked exactly like that; box and all. The label on it was slightly misaligned, but as far as working order - it is perfect.
