Hardware Thinking to buy a defect Switch, possible to make it work again?

Hello!

There is a guy that is selling a defective switch that I'm interested to buy...

I don't have a lot of information, but the one I got is that he received an error number which is "2162-0002" after he played a game a "whole" day and got that error when he rebooted it..

He also mentioned that Hekate 5.0.2 boots up just fine... other than that there isn't much more information he gave me.

If I buy it, is it possible to revive the console again? Or is it hopeless?

Possible? Yes.
Do we know it's not a hardware problem? Nope.
If I had to guess , I'd say it's just a software issue. Formating might be all you need to do, but who knows.

Hmm well I just got an update, apparently it is possible to boot to Hekate as I mentioned, BUT he said that we can't charge the console anymore (not after that error) :/

And also that booting up to Android is okay, whatever that means :/

So I'm guessing it's a hardware problem or maybe not depending on how much knowledge he have in this kind of stuff and if it is possible to charge is somehow, but he doesn't know...
