"Battle damaged" Metroplex. Although it doesn't look battle damaged as much as dirty.
Dirty old town.

I met my love by the gas works wall
Dreamed a dream by the old canal
I kissed my girl by the factory wall

Someone gave me his Powkiddy handheld because he couldn't make it work anymore. The SD card with the OS was the issue so now I have a Powkiddy RGB20S.

I just gotta get a much better micro SD card for game storage, the included 128GB card was really slow at reads at first so I backed it up and formatted it. Better read, better write, redo all the folders because there was a ton of wasted space and the file system just nuked itself. Thank god I also backed up the redone folder structure as well.

I knocked it out of the park yesterday evening, happened to see a NES bundle go up for $300 on the local market here and beat other sout, messaged same time as another guy but because I was chatty, open, fair, didn't care if the console tested and let them know I can fix them if necessary, that I wouldn't argue and just come with cash I made out. The reason I didn't care because 3 games in there (the 2 RPGs) I've had before and won't pay the price like that to recover and the other is obvious too and is as costly. Those 3 and a few others I intended to keep made sense and where I could drop the doubles and get out even in the end. It took an evening to clean up, burned a few magic erasers and a lot of alcohol, a bubble bath for the sleeves too. 1st owner family, kids got the parents stuff and just decided to move it, couldn't figure out how to hook it up because RF and didn't realize the coax/cable/ant in the back works (surprisingly it just worked, no pin issues.) It took hours to clean off a mix of dust and I guess second hand smoke as it had no smoker stank. Minimally keeping Dragon Warrior III & IV, Krion Conquest, and then Crystal Mines, Prince of Persia and Thunder&Lightning, 2 extension cables, and 2 game trays for my drawers. I priced it all out out of curiosity seems to value $800+ in stuff with 1/2 being those 3 particular titles.

Beyond that, throughout the week and weekend it was nice too a couple solid manga to enjoy cheaper than online, the nes game there 25, a couple of 32x games (1 local 1 not) nicely undervalued $30/$15, the sfc game was mail too for an ok value $30 shipped. The SNES is there with the controllers, no hdmi/power or paperwork annoyingly but was just $40, the punisher was $4 at a thrift.

I just ordered a clear Modretro M64 without the controller. I didn't really like the other colors they had. It says free shipping over $240, but I guess that's for the USA because I had to pay $82 Canadian for shipping. Well, it was technically $30 for shipping, but FedEx had $40 in taxes (I don't know why taxes were more than shipping) and I guess $12 for import fees.

I grabbed the red one alone, waiting to see real owner reviews on the controller since no one seems to have an idea how a n64 controller deadzone works while claiming otherwise. Used that nice $30 off code too. I wanted clear, but I utterly had that red dot on top it's just OCD jarring popping out like a sore on there. Don't get the poor choice on that, would have been nice in clear, smoky, or black. That free shipping was nice as well, now to sell off my original UltraHDMI modded N64 once it arrives. :)

(Still have a stock atomic edition complete in box I use anyway on a color monitor as it is.)

Taxes and duties are included in the console price so you don't have to pay those once the console gets to your door.

I know. Still sux though.

The popcorn vendor was at my work today so I bought a big bag of sweet chili and a small bag of maple to try.
