We have cookies and milk!

I finally broke down and bought an EZ-Flash Omega. I didn't splurge on the DE though, as the additional features did not justify a 71% increase in price.

Edit: I received it yesterday and have been setting it up all day today. I just installed a custom kernel (Simple, which has a post on this site) and am copying games to my SD card now.

The original Omega is great, as long as you know about waiting several seconds after saving before you turn off.

Got a n64 last week with shadows of the empire and got the original Japanese release of Pokémon Stadium 1 the Japanese version of Pokémon stadium 2 Pokémon stadium gold and silver, yoshi’s story and Mario party 3. I’m slowly getting back my childhood collectionView attachment IMG_0036.jpegView attachment IMG_0037.jpeg

Got some stuff in the past few weeks. A big shipment from insideGadgets marks the start

A GBxCart RW Pro for the slightly improved read and write speeds, and 2 flash carts for GBC and GBA Pokemon Romhacks, as well as prettier shells for all of my iG flashcarts.

Also got a FP battery pack for my FP GBA, two pouches for my NN3DS and DSi, and a Burnmaster just for funsies. The Burnmaster seems pretty okay for quick backups of saves and roms, though it's definitely missing some features.

Also got one of @Jayro's GB Test Carts and a cart extender for the Analogue Pocket, so non-standard GBA carts like the e-Reader or Boktai can be used in the thing, too.

Then I got a new old replacement screen for my old GBA SP, and some transparent membranes because I had hoped that would be more visible than it ended up to be. Still, after over a decade of being unusable my last game boy is also finally in perfect working condition again, and with a shell I got 4 years ago but never installed because the shoulder buttons needed replacing anyhow. I'm keeping this one with a stock display just so I have one, my other GBAs are more comfortable to hold to begin with.

And finally a new MiniDisc release.

The cow goes "mooo".
The fake Lego Sea Cow goes "fuck why won't you hold stable you worthless pile of plastic NO NO NONONO DON'T FAL--- FUCK"

Anyway, since I have no place to put this thing (except in the fish tank... hmmmm), I think I'll slow down with hoarding fake Lego sets for now.

My order of Gundams, car model kits, and paints arrived yesterday.

Some of the Gundams I already own or are variations of kits I already have, like the Zaku. I have four different variations of that kit. I wanted to do some customized kits and got them because they are cheap kits to experiment on.

Tanjiro from Demon Slayer t-shirt, little Toon Link plush, Yoshi socks, Yoshi Lego minifig (unofficial).

We had a great day at the local nerd convention, saw fam and friend, just what we needed to smile after some rough time lately.

Edit: I noticed a common theme between these purchases: green. I fucking love green 💚
