Not only routers, but also cameras, and other internet connected devices that might be exposed without proper security maintenance.

I wonder if eventually we'll see vlans become more mainstream? Something even ISP routers will provide, although obviously simplified for the type of person who would think "WAN" is short for "Wanker" or something.

[sitting here going], ok,, ok,, ok,, ok,, ok.

Default was changed years ago. Was deemed strong then. Though I didn't/don't own a TP-link device.. yet.. Awaiting arrival of this one. I'm going to link it upto the win phone link app or ManyCams. Wish me luck

I just got a Oil change on my Motorcycle, that damn gluttony eats 2 .3 liters of oil, and do not like the cheap one, no sir, she only accept:

10 USD/litter. + 5 USD filter

I took the opportunity to also change the reduction Oil, just to find the old oil so filled of glitter as a little chick on the airport's local brothel. I see a high price tag on the next reparation.
Wouldn’t be an issue if it were an electric motorcycle. :)

According to the articles, the bot net is made of not only routers but also iot devices like cctv cameras.

Again unless I'm missing something, looking at the sources it seems to mainly be routers which are affected.

In the case of Sekoia:
According to open-source publications, the Quad7 botnet is suspected to target different kinds of IOTs including IP cameras or NAS devices and SOHO routers, predominantly TP-Link. However, our investigation found that almost all – we cannot be completely certain – compromised assets were in fact TP-Link routers.

On a side note, it seems a regular reboot also removes the malware, at least temporarily.

At first, I saw the Oreo Coca-Cola memes and thought it was a joke. Then I kept seeing Oreo Coca-Cola in stores. I won't buy it because I just think that it must taste like crap
You are correct. A work colleague bought a can the other day and brought it in for us to try, we all agreed it's absolute shite.

I just «got» this, was on the house of a ex-ex-girlfriend and a very good friend «recovered» it.

Working fine on FW 18 and PC, will upgrade to FW 19.0.1 this night and test.
