Where I used to work before, I barely got an increase of 2.00$ over 3 years (I went from an hourly wage of 15$ to 16.95$ after 3 years)

I’m lucky enough to work in a high demand, short supply procurement role. When I’m doing it right, it means more jobs for people and more money for the business.

Bought a broken GBA and GBC today. The GBA only needed the fuse replaced to fix it and is otherwise in perfect shape, so that one will be modded for a friend as soon as I have the rest of the parts.
The GBC got some gnarly corrosion but that's fine, it turned on and reads carts, which is all it needs to do because that one will get frankensteined into a Game Boy Pocket Color once insideGadgets has the boards back in stock.

My Galaxy Watch 4 band broke, so I ordered two new ones; I only needed one, but they were about $5 more for two. I also got Red Dead Redemption for PS4 on Amazon. They had it for $30, and at that price, I had to buy it.


I ran out of some metallic paints I use, so I ordered some from the usual hobby store I order my Gunpla from. Ordering two bottles got me free shipping on everything I had in my private warehouse. My order should arrive Monday: 3 bottles of paint, 5 bottles of thinner, 1 bottle of airbrush cleaner, 3 master grade Gunpla, and 1 entry grade.
