My grandparents had a Party Line telephone back in the day. Funny concept looking back on it now!

It was a luxury, especially for when you rented from Hollywood video a lot. Tapes tended to break less often in dedicated rewinders than the vcr itself

Every time I put a cassette into the tape deck in my parents car, it felt like a complete gamble. Even if it was brand new

That's one thing the younger generation won't understand, spending time with actual humans.

That's in the past though for boomer old timers and archaic. And not young and hip anymore.

So awkward sometimes.
