sometimes when I get frustrated or excited, I just keep on pressing all the keys and accident soft rest the DS lite T_T

I just think there should be a comfirmation before soft resetting

A confirmation would be dumb and probably difficult to code. It's preety hard to ACCIDENTLY soft reset.
I think you should change your style of gaming

I can not think of a single DS game where you have to press 5 buttons at once to do something. If you're accidently soft resetting a lot, stop mashing all the buttons. Or if that's just how you "play" games, turn off soft reseting, simple as that.

Sometimes when I get excited, I accidentally flush my DS down the toilet. Arrrggh! HELP ME!

Good point. [OP] It's your problem. It's like complaining that things in your house occasionally break because you have energetic outbursts.
Sure, you'd have a valid complaint if you accidentally soft rese while playing a game normally.

It's not a problem to the mass of the users. It would be a hassle to the mass if they would have to select "yes" after hitting 5 buttons...

You are a "special" case.

Here's a solution: Stop allowing soft reset when writing roms. Problem solved.

I think Nintendogs has the L,R,X,B,Y,A to reset your savegame so you can make a new dog. But that's not a huge deal cause you can always nuke your savegame

Have an extra ds lite beside you. If you feel frustrated or excited, quickly switch to the other handheld and mash all you want!
