Homebrew Themes while using themehax?

So I read somewhere in the forum over these past few days since themehax hit the scene that you can indeed have both themehax and your themes if you compile the two together and install that way. I'm curious if this is true, and if so, is there a tutorial on how to accomplish this? Much thanks for any insight and direction!
