when i save 4.3J base apps it says that the "download failed
unable to connect to remote server"

You can point the application to a pre-downloaded *.app file, so for example for 4.3U themes you want 00000097.app from the 4.3U System Menu (or 00000097_4.3U.app, same thing). This and similar *.app files for other system menu versions can all be downloaded using ModMii Classic's download page 3, or other tools like WiiPy, Sharpii, NUSD, etc.

Note you can also create themes using ModMii directly by opening a mym file by dragging it onto modmii.exe (although see the bottom of the first post in the stickied ModMii thread for the 4b hotfix to a similar issue; at least until my next update is ready anyway)

Nvm, i got it working but now it says
00000097.app from System Menu 4.3U (for MyMenuify): Missing

* 1 of 1 file(s) are Invalid, Missing or were Not Updated properly

* Make sure you have free space here: C:
Check internet connection (try disabling firewall/bypasing proxy if applicable)
Enter "R" to repeat download before proceeding with your ModMii guide.

honestly no clue whats going on, its either my end or whatever is a "remote server"

Actually just when I post this, I read more carefully and found a tryout solution. Ignore last post

hey, sorry to hop in on this old thread, but right now neither thememii nor modmii seem to be able to reach the servers necessary to do anything with converting .mym files to .csm files. it's making it impossible to do anything.

i manually downloaded a 00000097.app file to try and get around thememii messing up, but not being able to reach the servers is causing different problems (trying to browse certain files to try and fix something is out of the question, and i can't add the .app file before the "create csm" step - at which point i can't look for the file i want to fix it.) modmii gets to "grabbing ticket..." before quitting altogether.

is the server they're both trying to reach down right now or am i doing something wrong?

For some reason i can't install the system menu anywhere, i tried on nus and it doesn't show anything, thememii gives me an error, mymenuify can restore the theme pressing "+", but when it tries to download the system menu it gives an error, what the hell is happening.
Edit: i tried with csm and there's a error too, it says: "Could not resolve host: nus.cdn.shop.wii.com".
I think the error is the same on Thememii because it says something about the server or whatever, can someone tell me how to download this system menu file offline?

Did u try modmii? Or nusget or WiiPy?
i don't know WiiPy or Modmii, but, i tried Nusget and it seems i installed the system menu that is a 0000009a file, but it should have been 0000009a.app, so thememii didn't recognize it, i tried to rename it adding .app, but it gave an error, even if it worked, i think the csm file wouldn't have been usable (i don't really know about this stuff). Still, i don't know how to make a theme right now if i can't access to that damn file.

Edit: i downloaded from another source nusdownloader, and it worked! now i have the csm file, i hope i dont brick my wii ahah.
