Hardware "the X360 wheels are not compatible with X1"

Xbox One: where you can plug in a PS4 and have it work but plug in Xbox 360 accessories and not have them work.

Well, yeah. They're a company. That's kind of the point. They'd be pretty shitty if they didn't.

Anyway, Sony's doing the exact same thing; both confirmed that their last generation controllers and accessories aren't going to be compatible with the next-gen machines. This is pretty much the standard policy.

If Microsoft announced that the wheels were compatible, they'd actually be shifting gears.

Those bastards! That almost sounds like when Sony banned almost every third-party controller from their PS3 to get more money! And let's not forget the proprietary memory cards for every console since the PS2.

They're moving away from the radio format used by the XBox 360 to improve response time - this was to be expected.

I agree with that, they are on industry to make money, but what I mean with "MS IS trying to make money at every coner" is that they are acting like sluts, bitches, etc. And the worst part in this case is that MS dont even have a wheel, and do no seem that they are developing any, so they are making money for others, this makes no sense at all. They will just destroy Forza Motorsports 5 with that policy.

They're not avaliable yet, but I know that some past Mad Catz products got bad reviews. Thrustmaster is OK I think.

This statement is so patently ridiculous that there is nothing I can add to make it any funnier. You called Microsoft a bitch/slut because it doesn't offer a shitty driving wheel on the Xbone. Game over, man, game over.

I mean, it's not like I didn't try, but come on. This is just on a whole other level.

What is shifting, incompatible tech for $100, Trebek.

Plus, people could, you know, play the console game with the console controller until a new model comes out. The vast majority of people do anyway, since these peripheries are extremely niche items to begin with.

If you really can't play Forza without the wheel, then just don't play it. Actually, never play Forza ever because why would you want to do that in the first place? Bam, problem solved.

TL;DR: Wheel with it.

New console, new round, new turns.

You can't expect everything to be backwards compatible.
Just stick with it.
If you're so upset about it, go to the PS4 or Wii U.

Mate of mine bought a 360 steering wheel.
Maybe used it 2 or 3 times.
Nother mate of mine is an avid racing fan, loves Forza etc.
Never played with the steering wheel.

Why would people get a steering wheel in the first place?
It's nice for kids but other then that....
 
Gee. This almost sounds like when Microsoft decided that the Xbox Classic accessories wouldn't be compatible with the Xbox 360. How did we ever survive?

Forza 4 is one of my favorite games I've played on my 360... :/ I play with the controller though, not a wheel.

Were you to walk into a game store, would you find yourself EXCLUSIVELY saying "I'd like a copy of <game> for the Xbox 360 please." or "I'd like a copy of <game for the 360 please."? Do you never say "Yeah, I'm gonna go play my Xbox for a bit" when you really mean your 360?
 
I find this dissapointing considering my x360 wheel is decent quality and does everything I'd ever need it do in a racing game.
