Placeholder discussion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I will be filling this out more as I test things with the game files and learn how things work.

For now I see no way to compile scripts for mods. The RomFS has cooked scripts which it loads, looking for ways to bypass this issue

What we know so far

• The RomFS has the same directory structure as the PC version of the game.
• Vanilla (non-modded) PC Saves transfer over with ease
• The games .bundle files which contain game files supports Oodle data compression, The updated quickbms script is uploaded below.

As far as I know there wasn’t nothing illegal in that discord or against the rules

It is possible that the discord Witcher 3 mods channel starter removed the group. There is one member before that continuously asks/begs for mods there. maybe he got pissed off

Has anyone experience a bug in the "Dangerous Game" side quest where you need to get three special Gwent cards for Zoltan?

After defeating the killers of Zed, the loot would give me the key, and two other items but the ISENGRIMM CARD which is supposed to be part of that loot is not there.

so the task, "Obtain isengrimm card" will remain unfinished.

It happens If u already have the card by any other means, breaking the Quest.

Oh yeah i remember buying all cards via cheat/mod.

Is there a way to remove those three cards in my inventory so just i can do the quest?

Is there no new discord or scene for Switcher modding? Anything for Switch->PC saves? PC to switch save works, but not vice versa.

why are the cheat codes not working in some parts of the game? It was working fine before but not no matter how i load the cheats, they simply would not work? I am still on 8.1.0 fw same as before. Cheats were working before, now they are not working

We don't even know where to start. Mod tools are close sourced, we don't have even one plugin example to reverse engineer it.

Since this thread collapsed after the Discord server suddenly shutdown, I've started a new thread and a new server. I've compiled what mods we have for Switch, and as for the server, I ran a fan translation for a Fire Emblem game, and already have a robust server with active mods and admins, so Switcher modders should be right at home - and safe from users constantly bugging them with requests or updates. I've given my moderation staff instructions to crack down on anyone who starts getting annoying, so everyone can mod in peace.
