I would like to see a home brew app that is like usb helper but where you just download onto the Wii U from the home brew App Store.

I third the request for a Wii U media player... it's pretty much the only big homebrew app the console is missing and would be amazing

a battery tester app like on 3ds, the 3ds app have a mark, tells you how long it will last within a min aprox and have a comparison chart with others 3ds, something like this but for wii u gamepad and if it is possible, wii u pro controller.

I would love to see a unbanner tool that changes the serial number in sys_prod.xml
plus i would also like to see a way for programs that can brick your wii u with cbhc to detect if cbhc is installed

About the limit of 292 games installed, shown, whatever.

The 3DS scene has overcome this restriction with a homebrew program, 3dsbank, which replaces on the fly the game installation directory, so you can keep several game 'banks' and switch between them.

Could some similar homebrew be done for the wiiu? Replacing the usr folder in the USB drive or something like that. IDK if that could work.

I'm aware of SCT, which can launch all games installed beyond the visible limits. SCT is waaaay too dangerous to let my kids use it. Multiple banks are preferred anyway, to avoid clutter.

The source of this issue is (as I understand it) the save file for the menu which stores the arrangement and such. So presumably you'd also have to bank-switch the menu save file or reset the arrangement every time, neither of which are great answers but not unviable.

Would it be feasible to see a port of Wiiero/Liero to the Wii U where each worm (player) gets their own screen (GamePad and TV) instead of sharing a single split screen. I feel like this would help the game stay more true to it's intent where you can't so easily screen cheat.

Internet channel Courtain patcher (for those who cannot access internet channel without a gamepad)
Undertale Wii U ver. (if possible, Deltarune 1&2 too)
SD explorer (serously, there is no sd card explorer for the wii u, and also that wiimotes can be used)

Could someone port Sonic 3 AIR to the Wii U? My understanding is that the source code only recently went open source, so in the past when it was ported to the Switch, and people asked for a Wii U port, that wasn't really in the cards back then, but it sounds like it should be totally doable now.

I'd love a way to add button remapping to the DS VC games. The current method of using HID to VPAD is cumbersome at best and I've been looking around and can't find any other way of doing it. I've no idea why Nintendo didn't include this in the first place tbh.

I think this has been added for the gamepad but I'm not sure about pro controller
