An update to my last post: I also tested the Vs Seeker AR code, it modifies (apparently) the steps needed, but, when I use the VS Seeker, the trainers react ( they get a "!!") but when you speak to them, they use the "after battle" dialog... This added to the Pokeradar code that continusly reset the game... Thanks for the help...

um.. curley i noticed that you didn't put in a link on your 1st post to help noobs get YSMenu.
could you plz add it too help noobs. and above it put "if your cheats for pokemon,yu-gi-oh or x,y,z,whatever doesn't show up either get rid of cheats you don't need or get YSMenu."

BTW this is my step-by-step on how to get YSMenu. i made it cuz my friend couldn't understand how.hope it helps.

HOW TO GET YSMENU

1. go here "http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=103879" and click on download,and choose open.

2. use winrar or 7-zip to open the .zip ,and take all of the files/folders and put them in a new empty folder.

3. go here "http://home.usay.jp/pc/etc/nds/" and scroll down till you see DS(T_T)DS in green.

4. click on 2009/03/21 17:00 EZ3in1+(or the newest version) and choose save, and put the .zip into the folder you made in step 2.do not open the .zip

5. rename the YSMenu200903211700 (or what ever the .zip you downloaded was)to YSMenu0810211800

6. open the folder you made in step 2 and click on the thing that says r4. a black box will pop up it will have questions.

7. i answered the questions like this en, r4, press any key, yes, en, 1, press any key.feel free to answer them your way.

8. you will get a folder called R4_custom_English it should open automaticly if not open it.

9.put the 2 files you get onto your microsd card,and turn on your ds to see if it worked.

10. if it worked erase these files/folders: _system_, the old _DS_MENU.DAT, _DS_MENU.SYS

11.ENJOY!

12. now u put the USRCHEAT.DAT into the TTMenu folder, and replace the old one.

if you want me to remove the "how to" tell me to and i'll remove it

Just got the the latest update for cheats and pokemon dimoind/peral/plat have no cheat now i use a m3 simply and have fireware 1.14 was wandering if you could tell me how to combine my cheats with yours i have another cheat.dat its the one that the r4 comes with and it has some different ones then yours. i would upload it in this post but i don't know how to

When I try to use the Exp. Multiplier it doesn't work. I'm I doing something wrong? I'm pressing R at the time when it says that the pokemon fainted. Help plz

when it says it fainted you have to hold the "R" down till your EXP gain comes up

Thanks, so is updating firmware the same as updating normal R4 firmware?
Or are there special things to do when updating YSMenu etc.

Once every month or two.
No, but these can be bypassed with cheat codes and YSMenu has MUCH better cheat compatibility.
It only looks as good as the skin you use. The default one is pretty bland.
