The way you have it is perfectly fine. Just make sure your microSD card is in ExFAT and not FAT32.Thanks, yeah its 100% my original dumb and i never shared it to anyone and i wont.
So i dont need to rename it ? i wonder why all youtubers say then, that we have to rename all the files and the folder correctly lol. But i gonna try it now without renaming![]()
You can rename the files inside the folder if you want to as long as long as you follow the following format where you can change "XXX" to what ever you want with no special character and "XXX" is all the same. You guys seem to be right. I rly didnt had to rename the folder or any files of the rom inside. Seems like all the YT Guides are wrong or i dont know. But it works all.
My console didnt got banned for now and lets see if it stays unbanned since i only use 100% original games that i also dont share anywhere.

always is wise stay away from youtube tutorials, they trend to be wrong or outdated even minutes after they where created. You guys seem to be right. I rly didnt had to rename the folder or any files of the rom inside. Seems like all the YT Guides are wrong or i dont know. But it works all.

It has, but whether it circumvents the Nintendo's ban hammer I can't find the solid evidence. Provided that you use only your properly backed-up games, of course.has it been updated to work with switch 2 yet?
There is no way that this will or even can brick your systemHello everyone, as a person who doesn't care about an online ban (Because I never play online) is there something else should I worry about? Like a full brick or something.
Okay! thank youThere is no way that this will or even can brick your system
How has everything worked out for you so far? Any issues with being banned using your personal backups?Hey guys, i just bought my first switch game original on a cartride and i dumped it just now with the mig dumper (i was trying for hours to update it with ubuntu so my pc with win11 can detect the dumper but nothing worked until i stumbled on a tool called mig updater and with that it finally worked. Couldnt find any of these infos on this forum at all, so i was thinking first the mig updater could be scam and break my dumper but i am glad i gave it a try).
Well, i got a Folder called like: BLABLA123BLABLA.XCI
Inside the Folder i have files called exactly this:
ROM (Card ID Set).bin
ROM (Card UID).bin
ROM (Certificate).bin
ROM (Initial Data).bin
ROM.xci
Buf according this guide and even on youtube videos, peoples folders look different and even their .bin files. According some infos, i dont need to renaissance

anything and can copy this folder to the sd card of the mig and it should work. But i gonna ask here before i risk a ban since i have a limited zelda switch oled edition.

If you use your OWN backups and you do not share with anyone, you should be fine.If I use my own backups will I risk a ban using the mig switch?
MIG supports only exFat for his card. And can I use fat32 or does it have to be exfat for the sd card?
Should be in bold.If you use your OWN backups and you do not share with anyone, you should be fine.
It shouldn’t beShould be in bold.
I was also referring to "OWN backups" and "do not share" as well.It shouldn’t be
I’ve been using my MiG since release and am still not banned
Just don’t cut corners and pretend like all this hasn’t been tested a thousand times by others by now

do not close the lid?I just got my cart for my switch lite, it seems the cap for the game cart slot is pushing the button down and when I open the cap, it causes the button to be unpressed and only then switches the game. Is there fix for this?
If someone can donate a cart coverI just got my cart for my switch lite, it seems the cap for the game cart slot is pushing the button down and when I open the cap, it causes the button to be unpressed and only then switches the game. Is there fix for this?
That's an extremely interesting idea. you could even put a button mechanism on the cart cover also making it much more elegantIf someone can donate a cart cover
I could remake it in cad slightly larger to be 3d printed
Otherwise you will have to either keep it open or modify the MiG to use a capacitive touch button
For anyone having this problem: you need to switch to your game while the cover is open. You can close the flap by pressing from the very right corner. It doesn't fully close but at least it's a bit more protection for the slot (and cart) from dust and debris, and it looks better than leaving the flap completely openI just got my cart for my switch lite, it seems the cap for the game cart slot is pushing the button down and when I open the cap, it causes the button to be unpressed and only then switches the game.
