Call me crazy, but I like the CD version of Half-Life more, it just had more charm. The steam version feels more like a brand than it's own game, and the forced OpenGL renderer doesn't really agree with my AMD shit.

I didn't know there were differences between the physical and digital releases.

It'd be hard to list all of the subtle changes between the two, considering it's been updated throughout all these years, but they feel like two completely different games if you really get into it. I'd suggest watching an in-depth analysis if you're really interested in checking out the differences.
