Hi everyone,

well. That's me... Traditionally rather a PC user that consoles. But I got offered a wii a few years ago. And just recently tries to free it (basically because one of my games stopped working due to too old/damaged DVD). And... it doesn't go too well so far . So I'm here seeking help I've posted a thread about it, but as I understand I'm not allowed to link to it yet.

Yes, that's a measure to prevent bots from spamming the site.

About your issue, freeing the Nintendo Wii is as easy as installing PriiLoader, BootMii and d2-x cIOS.

All done. And all seems to work... Except that for anything I start from my HD, or using the new functionalities, my wiimotes can't sync... So basically it's totally unusable... Well, I can see the welcome/loading screen of the apps... Better than nothing... But barely
