I'm on 10.1 and I want to install ironfall so I'll have permanent homebrew. Is it best to update? And do I need to update to the latest menuhax before updating to 10.3 or can I do that after I update?

In the first post it says that <4.5 should update to at least 4.5. What are the benefits of me updating the firmware of my 4.1 and 4.4 3DS consoles to 4.5? Updates that happened from 4.0 to 4.5 were nothing more than security updates that only offered the blocking of DS flashcarts. There really is no legitimate reason to update the firmware version to 4.5 since the gateway 3ds will work on firmware 4.0 - 4.5. On the other hand, the browser version might need to be updated so somebody might be able to get the homebrew browser installed, but a firmware update to 4.5 from a cart isn't going to update the browser version.

I don't remember when I updated to 10.1, but now that my interest in homebrew is up again my Ironhax is stuck on "The homemenu riprobin is ready" and crash to menu and my browser is stuck on the update message.

Do I wait for more homebrew development or should I update to 10.3 so I can recover a hax entrypoint?

I had my 2ds on 10.1 and I updated to 10.3 to regain access to browserhax. Through it I installed homemenuhax and ironfall 1.0 to get ironhax. Now I have all three.

Just make sure you can get ironfall, if not it's useless.

Just update, you will regain access to browserhax, and you will able to install ironhax and menuhax. And all exploits remain unpatched.

Can someone help me please? I don't know how to link my Nintendo Network ID on my N3DS (9.9 and MenuHaxed of course), I really want to get IronFall
