Hacking The New Massive R4DS Cheat Database

Currently, no games need an ARM fix for the R4 since update 1.15.

We are waiting for an update to fix 2 games that don't work right now....ARM fixed or not; Miami Nights and Puppy Palace. As far as I know, those are the only two games not working in the R4. I imagine the only reason the R4 team hasn't released an update to fix them is because neither game is really worth bothering with anyway.

heres another report of bad codes, its on Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker (U) the EXP multipliers dont work, as soon as u enter a battle the game freezes on a black screen

Rayder, the EXP multiplier codes do work.. at least they work fine for me.

Although, I have an old dat, something was probably added in and started to conflict with it, but a few other people should test it, just to make sure.

OK, I'll add them back next time I update.

Figures that the first time I dump codes without a 2nd confirmation that they actually work.

My .dat is the 9/2/2008, maybe something was changed which caused it, or maybe woody0's rom was trimmed, I guess I'll add the code into the new dat and see what happens.


Edit: Worked fine, got 32768 EXP spread across my party from one slime. I'm guessing the lower settings work too.

Could you tell us which ones?

Or rather, the ones you had problems with? Could be a conflict, or it could be happening if you're using a trimmed rom.

You're talking about the Wild Monster Mods, right?

Just tested it, Battle Screen froze when I tried the Exclusive Monsters one, I'm going to try some of the rest, thanks for the tip.

Slime ones don't work either (Rare one didn't, and I didn't test the other Slimes).

S-Ranked Dragons worked.

Could you try the S-Ranked Dragons and the X-Ranked Dragons? Those ones seem to work fine for me, I think it may only be the slimes and the "exclusives" monster codes, but I'll try all of them just to make sure.

Scratch that, A-Rank nature doesn't work.

EDIT: tried the codes and it didnt work for me

EDIT2: ok, i removed the real time think (the B button thingy-majig) and it worked fine, i got 1703936 exp points from 2 chainines

EDIT3: just so we know, the 100% scout works fine for me now aswell

It's pretty much a known problem that the RTC feature of the R4 causes problems. I never use it myself.
