I checked out Luxor.....NONE of the codes work, not even the backlight codes. They've been removed, but I left a note stating that in the dat, so people don't ask me about it later.

I also altered the "Press L to restore HP to all units Player 1" AW DOR codes, so that code should work now.

Thanks for the response. I did not try the BL codes but can and let you know. I don't see why they would not, at the very least, the R4 does recognize the game id and knows there are cheats, not sure if it is an R4 issue or AR issue, but will let you know, here or through PM if the backlight codes work.

Game ID is calculated from the ROM header. Animal Crossing doesn't work because it has a non-standard ARM7 binary, meaning the AR can't hook it the same way as other games. On a real AR, master codes can change the hook location, but it seems unimplemented / left out of the AR engine in the R4 (It is a ripped version of the real AR engine)

AWOR, the cheat "infinite fuel for player 1" (last cheat before the language selection) actually does make the very first unit you create with 0 fuel and can never be replenish. So if you only have 1 factory, you're screwed because you wont be able to move the unit to build more, but if you have a second factory, the rest of the other units built will be alright... only the first built unit will remain at 0 fuel (even infantry needs fuel aparently)

Does anyone know that code where it's like a software enable/disable for the cheats?

I hear that one works when the built-in R4 one doesn't.

If someone knows the code to do that, please post it, I will add it to ALL the games in the dat......if it's universal....like how the backlight codes are....

hey, im new to the forum, i was wondering why none of the cheats for animal crossing wild world work, iv tried all versions of the game with cheats but none of them work properly, any help? OK, iv got DQMJ codes, now, the games works fine until i enter a battle, i only have one code active and thats for the exp multiplyer, when i enter a battle it freezes on a black screen, whats wrong?

Codes added. I missed them on yesterday's update. Oops.

So.....nobody knows what I'm talking about with that cheat enable/disable code? I hear it works MUCH better than the built-in enable/disabler in the R4. If someone knows it, please post it.....and let me know if it's game-specific or is universal like the backlight codes. If it's universal, I'll add it to all the games in the dat.

I know it may be some work, but if you could tell me which ones DO work, I'll remove the bad codes. I don't play the game myself....so I wouldn't know anything about the codes at first and it would take me longer to determine the bad codes.

Just wanted to let everyone know that there won't be any updates until around Wednesday or Thursday. Our modem died and I'm only tolerating dial-up long enough to post this message.

We already have another modem on order and it should get here by Wednesday or Thursday. Until then, I'll likely be offline.

Sorry for the inconvenience. It's a pain to my ass as well. I pretty much live on the internet and I'll be going stir crazy until the new modem arrives.

EDIT: YAY! One of our friends had a spare modem! He's letting us use it until we get our replacement. WOOT!

If you have something negative to say, don't say it at all. Rayder already stated that he doesn't put codes that affect wifi if he knows they can be used online.
