Would I mess up my Pokemon Platinum (J) game file if I change the sav. file into Pokemon Platinum (U)? Question: Is there anyway to play games without patching them with arm7?

why not backup your .sav before you try? is always no harm trying right? just a little adventurous will do~! instead of wondering/pondering for weeks with a backup .sav not like everything will fall/break apart!? downloading the U version also won't cost you a penny right ?

if you do want the game ID ! go get r4cce (read first post) and over r4cce use the . . . function to locate the game ID yourself

first of all are you r4 original user? if yes.. you can always switch to yasumenu! if you need a copy PM me! i am glad to supply you with that

Guys, just STOP asking for updates.
Narin has been busy doing stuff with his life (which you obviously don't have if you spend all your time here asking for updates)
First he had to rewrite all the config for the forums, for an engine that is NOT open source (i.e. really hard to do)
and now he has a full time job:

If you want an update so badly, go make one yourself.
I made my app partly to stop so many of you spamming the thread!

The worst thing is, I see noobs asking for updates, someone tells them that there have been updates - next post? "The last update was on the 3rd"

maybe it would start a flame war, but the n00bs know that they have nothing to stand on. which is why there isn't.

The only reason Narin doesn't make posts with statments like those on, is because he doesn't want to be on either side. And because he is an awesome person who knows that there are many more leechers/noobs who just deal with their own problems (check out how many guests vs users & noobs there are at the bottom)

the noobs are the whole reason why I stopped contributing to the thread last 6 months ago, I got the topic locked to quieten down the n00bs.

at least, this is what i do!

As for update, we know when should we update the database! this is the process:-

1st)
a) wait for some games to be released! (It is torturing)
b)download the games (this is the part pisses me off)
c)waste some time on playing the game (same here! i hate those sickening game tutorials!... if i get a good .sav i will make more codes! if not just mae some simple one! I usually spend only 10-60 minutes for a game)
d)start making codes, gather codes made and send to tester for testing

2nd)
a)Gather codes from thread and pass it to the testers for testing (sometimes we may skip this step and end up some of us got fucked for broken/bogus codes! Who the hell here got this much time to test all!!!! pay me handsomely and i will do the job for testing

3rd)
a)Compile all working codes and send to Narin. too bad it may include some bogus codes! why bogus? thanks to some of you who doesn't test your codes and CLAIM IT WORKS!!

b)Narin will then spend roughly 2 hours (i estimated this) to update and upload it

4th)
a)We will then get feedbacks from users and try to fix some of those codes we made! i usually have no tendency to fix other coders' code!

SO DON'T TELL NARIN OR ANY OF US WHAT TO DO! UNLESS YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING!

that code was leaked from Normatt.
It was supposed to be the cheat database, and AKAIO only.
Obviously that will never happen now.

im just wondering if on pokemon platinum (U) has working underground bag codes? i tried them and didnt work, so i used pokesave to create ones that work. am i able to post pokesav codes here? ive got a couple of underground bag codes that work for me.

i dont have the items as i think its pointless since theres an all items code. if the underground codes DO work for people ,nevermind then.

Sometimes I just wish people would have a go and try to update themselves, it is annoying how ungrateful some people are, when someone is giving their own time to update the database.

Narin does a heck of a lot more than just making a database so these noobs can cheat at a game, he also helps maintain it. In fact, if it weren't for him, there would be loads of crashing all the time.

it's my first post here. I appreciate the work you guys have done, thank you.

I think that the status of Narin not being able to update and thus bla bla bla , should be on the first post of this thread. Likewise, how to use R4CCe (or that such a thing exists) to update your own cheats should also be on the first page. That way, I think less people will actually come and flood for no helluva reason. Some people ONLY read the first post and then click reply - and some people dont know about the existence of cheat editors. YSmenu was a good addon to the first post.

Again, thanks for the work.

On one hand, I could do compiling all the cheats that 'work' and upload it. It's not that difficult to me. The difficult part to me is actually finding codes that work, or making your own codes (since I dont use no$gba or NDS dongles). Peace.

The program used to maintain the database is R4CCE. This program was created by Yasu Software and is what makes it possible to maintain this database for all of you. As Rayder said in the past, this database wouldn't be possible in its current form if it wasn't for Yasu and for SkH for bringing it to his attention. These two talented people deserve our thanks.

Here is a great tutorial on how to use the R4CCE by Curley. I suggest you all should learn how to use R4CCE if yyou ever want to modify the cheat dat and add your own cheats to it.

And I also dont know why everything has begun requesting codes here.. IT IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY YOUR REQUEST WILL BE TAKEN... unless you put it in the appropriate thread and as long as someone wishes to make it.. There is no point asking 100 times if someone can make you a certain code... We DO THIS FOR NOTHING.. We make codes for fun.. We dont make codes cause we have to.. If you want a code, ask someone in the AR code thread very nicely, AND SOMEONE MAY TAKE YOUR REQUEST, instead of getting flamed here all the time.. This isnt a REQUEST thread.. Please refrain from posting requests.. If you really want a code, REQUEST IT A KODEWERX..

Use some common sense people, If you read the 1st post, It has 99.99% of your answers.. If its not there theres a chance that in the threads below this one the other 0.01% can be found...
