I second the idea of changing the Pokemon Platinum TM01 Modifier code. Changing the TM to 17 (Protect) instead of 01 (Punch) makes it so almost every pokemon can use it. As of now, only fighting types, and a few others, can use it at all.

This would be a great change, and much appreciated.

To R4 users and its clones, use either CHEAT.dat or USRCHEAT.dat and not both, using both will cause some codes and games not to show up.

For those having problems with some games not showing up like Yu-Gi-Oh its due to a bug/limit in your flashcart (R4, M3 Simply, ect) and you have a few options.
Plese check out this notice for more information on how to fix this problem:

I also suggest using YSMenu, a replacement firmware for the R4DS which offers better game compatibility, features and also has better cheat support. YSMenu doesn't cut off any of the cheats and displays all the cheats for all the games and don't have the problems the R4DS has with some cheats.

So I tried the thing suggested in the link, EX, moving the game cheat to the top of the lisst but it didn't work. So I wanna try YSMenu, but Im wondering if the N5 will be able to run it. Its a weak clone of the R4

also the game cheat Im trying to run is The World Ends with you. The cheat option doesnt show up in my menu. ( Like the press "Y" to activate certain cheats..)

the third buff code? the one you told me? i haven't got the time to try it but i think it won't stray too far from the actual address!
how to make it? i would say is pretty easy!

so start a search with 0
and when you got the third buff do a + search
once the effect is over do a 0 search

repeat this process

elixirdream, thanks for testing the codes, and I thought there was something wrong with my M3Real

the Shrink/Grow code is suppose to increase/decrease Mario's size little by little but only like an illusion, example: if small Mario needs to jump 1/4 inch to hit a block and you increase Mario's size to a giant as tall as the whole screen, he still needs to jump 1/4 inch in order to hit that block
