anyway, extra info on what elixir has typed with regard to cheats on flashcart, For example,the all cards code for ragnarok, on EDGE, i only get 20 cards, but on the DSTT, elixir was able to get all the cards. It has something to do with the cheat engine in the flashcart, i have no idea the exact detail though.

I have a comment on the recent piracy cheat/fix for the new FFCCDS game. Is it possible this game is suffering so much lag because the rom can still detect its on a flash cart? Could another AR cheat or patch fix this?

And whats with the options when I want to apply changes? I can't read but it looks like thats a piracy thing too.

Just wondering if anyone here also came up with the same hypothesis.

Njrg, i don quite get what u are typing, but anyway i didn't feel any lag when i played it on my flashcart

the options are the following: (this is to the best of my knowledge)

1st option: adjust audio options 4th option:delete data

2nd option: adjust how camera affects your character

3rd option how u want the abc and 123 to be displayed 5th option:adjust wifi options

I had a mess around with the settings but couldn't get the language to change.

what is the flash cart that you are using? the game simply runs smoothly on my DSTT and Ak2i

Note: too bad i am not going to play this game...

Unless the language is hidden inside the code like Dragon Quest 4, I think the game would probably change to your language depending on your DS' region (like Chrono Trigger).

And @elixirdream:

I think the slowdown that people are referring to in Echoes is during online. I'm using the game on a Supercard DS-One with the DSTT loader (because the Supercard cheats are too slow to release) and I've only played single player. I've had no lag AT ALL so far. In fact, it feels like Square Enix actually cleaned up the graphics engine from Rings of Fate as that game lagged even in single player. No such slowdown here so far, even when the screen is packed with 10 or more characters!

Have you played with friends? Or a random game? Because Friends LAGS
Might be my Cyclo's fault.

And as for the options piracy thing.

Options 2 and 3 wont let you apply, bring up some screen with text and a picture with an X over the DS, and freezes it on you

Please don't give me that "Make it yourself" guide.

Despite the how easy the guide layed out the basics, I still couldnt get a simple money code working.

And I'm looking for someone who can swap the functions of the L and R button. If you remember me from the PS0 debut, then you'll know why I need one. D;

strange it works for me, maybe its a problem with ur flashcart?

fatso and i tested the game on multiplayer with friends

As you can see the results are different

first connection was a little lagging in town (that connection didn't turn out to be good)
second connection was flawless. it was smooth in town
third connection we finally managed to get into the forest for some quick test... everything for me was SMOOTH and NO LAG

Flash cart used during our test was DSTT and EDGE

Conclusion: i doubt a piracy check is required

i had tested on OMANEKI (1st option of wifi) [1st and 3rd option no freeze of wifi connection menu] and ODEKAKE (2nd option of wifi) [2nd and 3rd option no freeze of wifi connection menu]....

well, that was at town, but once we were in a place with monsters, there was some slowness in movement and reaction. So, i guess it's not just u

edit: just slowness, but what i call lag though, since my hits are still able to connect with the monsters.
