some codes arent showing up on my R4 - the world ends with you, worms open warfare 2, and tetris ds. I've done everything you suggested narin, and they still wont show up. i used to use my own Usrcheat.dat and that showed my TWEWY cheats, and, for the life of me, i can't figure out why they won't show up now.

Any suggestions?

And good work on the database, extremely useful!

yup, but u don need to understand jap, since only key npcs have chat bubbles, so u can just run around and also, the stickers, some of them have chinese words, so it is pretty easy to guess what their effect is

haha, for the rockman games, i don think that there is a need to do that, since the only joker and ace game for the rockman starforce series is only in jap, unless the game is already out in US or E, then i agree, it would be good to tell Narin, but in this instances, where the game is only in one region, i not sure if u need to do that

To R4DS Users:
To R4 users and its clones, use either CHEAT.dat or USRCHEAT.dat and not both, using both will cause some codes and games not to show up.

For those having problems with some games not showing up like Yu-Gi-Oh its due to a bug/limit in your flashcart (R4, M3 Simply, ect) and you have a few options.
Plese check out this notice for more information on how to fix this problem:

I also suggest using <a href="http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=103879" target="_blank">YSMenu</a>, a replacement firmware for the R4DS which offers better game compatibility, features and also has better cheat support. YSMenu doesn't cut off any of the cheats and displays all the cheats for all the games and don't have the problems the R4DS has with some cheats.

Note:
Ok another update folks! Just a heads up, I haven't had a chance to look at the Rune Factory 2 codes so stay away from the codes from the last update for now or use them at your own risk. The Lumber, Water, HP and other codes should be fine. If any of you do encounter problem codes, please let me know.

I added in piracy fix cheats for Chocobo to Mahou no Ehon: Majo to Shoujo to 5-nin no Yuusha (J) and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time (K) so you can now play the games without any problems. I also added in Blazer Drive (J) as well for all you Blazer fans! Also I fixed up the stat codes in both Chrono Trigger DS games so now they should give you real max stats instead of showing double stars and not having a difference in battle. I also added a shop modifier cheat to Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (U) which lets you add some rare and hard to find items to the shop so you can buy all the items you want without using the "Have all items" cheat. Also the gives listed here and the others had new codes added and various fixes made.

A special thanks goes out to seedvt and elixirdream for ceaning up the Soma Bringer (J) and the english patch codes! They went through them all and fixed up the translations and even found some new codes! They are neatly categorized into multiple folders now and easier to understand. If any of you have any suggestions on better names or broken or duplicate codes, let us know.

Im not sure if this has been asked before but I have been having some problems with my R4 for the recent games. Im not sure if this is a simple matter finding the piracy cracks for these games. The problem is with the new games, for example Age of Empires Mythologies, and Luminous Arc 2 both games which dont have the piracy cheat in the database, have been giving me the error and I quote "Could not access save data. Turn off the power and reinsert the Game Card." I dont know what to do. And yes I have d/led the bug fix for the R4.

Either use YSMenu or Arm7 patch the games. Its not a piracy check, its due to the R4 being extremely out dated.

Hello, I have noticed a problem with my R4 Cheats.

Not sure if anyone else knows of a fix.

When I use Cheat.Dat, (I am aware of the R4 limitations on cheats and I do have the patched NDS_Menu), the cheats show up and work fine.
When I use Cheat(UE).Dat, no cheats show up at all. So I tried renaming it to Cheat.Dat, and still nothing shows up.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have started using YSMenu and most cheats work fine, but there are a few games where the screen just locks up on me.

I would like to use the R4 kernel if possible and use the Cheat(UE) as my Cheat.dat. Is there something I am missing to get the cheat(UE) to work?

Thanks for any help. Maybe I am just not naming it correctly?

first of all i just download the CHEAT(UE).dat from cheats.gbatemp.net and it is CHEAT.dat in the zip file.

if you intend to use r4 kernel you can try using Arm7 patch the games as suggested by narin

Wow, I feel dumb....

I was actually renaming the file 12_12_08_cheat(ue) to "Narin - 12..... etc. as I downloaded the file

And for some reason, it was making the ZIP file look like the DAT file. I dont know why my computer was doing that... But if I just download the file without changing the name, then it leaves the zip file intact.
