Sorry for the gigantic delay.

I have a DS Lite and the brightness cheats worked perfectly fine before I got YSMenu.

After putting it on the card, those codes don't work, whereas every other code so far has worked.

Is this a known problem with it?

i dont know if this is the right spot to post this or not if not im sorry, but i was wondering if anyone knows why cheats dont work for animal crossing with an acekard2. if anyone knows why or how to resolve this issue id appreciate knowing how to solve this problem. thanks. and again i appoligize if this is the wrong thread to post this in.

people who's cheats dont work, PLEASE PLEASE tell which cheat i can possibly go and test all of them, Animal crossing some cheats like full cataog and furniture set cheat (as in one whole set of stuff) do not work.
Most work fine on meh R4

To R4DS Users:
To R4 users and its clones, use either CHEAT.dat or USRCHEAT.dat and not both, using both will cause some codes and games not to show up.

For those having problems with some games not showing up like Yu-Gi-Oh its due to a bug/limit in your flashcart (R4, M3 Simply, ect) and you have a few options.
Plese check out this notice for more information on how to fix this problem:

I also suggest using <a href="http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=103879" target="_blank">YSMenu</a>, a replacement firmware for the R4DS which offers better game compatibility, features and also has better cheat support. YSMenu doesn't cut off any of the cheats and displays all the cheats for all the games and don't have the problems the R4DS has with some cheats.

Note:
Ok another update folks! Just a heads up, I haven't had a chance to look at the Rune Factory 2 codes so stay away from the codes from the last update for now or use them at your own risk. The Lumber, Water, HP and other codes should be fine. If any of you do encounter problem codes, please let me know.

I added in piracy fix cheats for Chocobo to Mahou no Ehon: Majo to Shoujo to 5-nin no Yuusha (J) and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time (K) so you can now play the games without any problems. I added added in Blazer Drive (J) as well for all you Blazer fans! Also I fixed up the stat codes in both Chrono Trigger DS games so now they should give you real max stats instead of showing double stars and not having a difference in battle. I also added a shop modifier cheat to Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (U) which lets you add some rare and hard to find items to the shop so you can buy all the items you want without using the "Have all items" cheat. Also the gives listed here and the others had new codes added and various fixes made.

i tried the new thing for the R4DS, the one that fixes the cheats problem, but it didn't work. I had cheats for rune factory 2 previously but now after i insterted the new _DS_MENU.DAT I didn't have the cheat for rune factory 2 anymore. Not only rune factory 2 but some other games the cheats are not avalible too.

*edit: um... it's ok now someone helped me figure it out. thx.

ok i been trying my best to get this game to have cheats >_< not working

Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (U) [Patched] i tryed to get the update to show nope hum i am geting very mad becouse that game is hard to play i keep dieing lol by the 120 birds its not right that my R4DS well not let me cheat for that game

please try to add or just one cheat or try to update and please tell me where i put the all cheats so i can get it to work
waht folders ? and tell me what goes in what so i know what i did worng my update is 1.18 on my R4ds or i am gona go bye a new flashcard dont knwo what one though tell me the best of the best that woks hands down on my money

Your rom patched, maybe the game id doesn't match with the database. Why don't you use CLEAN rom? I can use cheat on Sonic Chronicles : The Dark Brotherhood (USA).

it is because the game is patched this the game id is different. Solution is either you do as ShinRyouma suggested or refer to the spoiler

In r4cce
add game
use the . . . button next to game id to check your patched rom id
if it is different just change accordingly ~!

and.. furthermore codes might not show up because of a bug in r4
so the best is get yasumenu
