Is it correct that you can walk while you're talking with certain people?
I have the cheat (thanks everyone!) for fixing the bugs on. The M3 Real version.

Got it to work, finally! The new cheat worked perfectly, just had to get a completely fresh copy of the rom. Thanks so much everyone! I'm going to disappear for the next couple of days now.

My Acekard can't find the cheats for #2949 Chrono Trigger. Am i doing something wrong? Cheats.xml is the right one, isn't it?

Did both. Finds cheats for many games (i.e. Ninjatown), but can't find the cheats for the only game I want to play now!

Damn I feel so stupid... Can't get it to work!!!

Narin, once more, you've done it again! I want to bare your baby moogles. Great work with the CT thang. And kudos to your compatriots with which you were working to get these CT codes out the door!

)
but the game is in english lol and so far, its the same as the snes version =D

(sorry for the double post, I wrote the same in the release thread as well)

to everybody having problems with the patch: the .bat file is hastily written (and dangerous):

------------------
rename *.nds original.nds
xdelta patch cpfix.patch original.nds patched.nds
-------------------

the first line renames ANY rom in the directory to "original.nds"
the second applies the patch

So, make sure not to launch the .bat from a dir that includes more than one rom!

I'd just advise to make a new dir, copy the original rom & all patch files there, then from a command prompt paste the xdelta line with the right ROM name, like:

xdelta patch cpfix.patch ChronoTrigger.nds Chrono_patched.nds

or whatever is the case. I did that, the patched file (not trimmed) works great on R4... so far...

also, if you don't run Windows, just get xdelta for your platform (Linux users most likely already have it).

Cheers

Thanks and great work to anyone who is involved with the CT fix.

Thanks for the updates to the database Narin. One question, did you exclude the UE and J .dat's just from this update, or will that be a continued thing? I have the R4 and using Cheat(UE).dat made it so much easier for me. Thanks again.

I've already added the latest usrcheat.dat (renamed to cheat.dat) because I am using a R4SDHC, I've double checked to make sure that it has the chrono trigger cheat included yet the cheats for it do not appear. Any help?
