Hey guys! Using DSATM and the codes created by the GBAtemp Cheat Crew, I've created a patch that will apply the codes directly to the ROM. I've uploaded it to the download section and you can view it here. Tested on my R4 running the 1.18 firmware. Enjoy!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

IT WORKS!!!!

Hmm... anyone else with a Supercard DS One having any problems? Game is patched correctly and works on my buddy's R4, but it seems to lock up every time on the Initializing Save Memory, Do not turn the power OFF screen.

I've got a DS-One too and am going to try it in a second.

I'm having a few interesting problems with my Cyclo:

1) If I patch it myself with DSATM, the filesize drops to about 85MB. If I try loading it up on my Cyclo, it doesn't work.

2) If I use BelmontSlayer's neat little patch thing and try loading that up on my Cyclo, it doesn't work either.

The screen stays completely white after I try to load up the game with those two.

3) For some reason, even after enabling cheats, they don't work. When I turn on the game I'm prompted to use cheats, so I select the cheat that's there (it's the only one, and it's pretty clear). I was stuck in the time warp, as per usual, and when I did ABXYLR, it said Cheats were disabled.

So, I'm not sure which of these is the easiest to solve; probably #3, since I have no idea why the game won't load at all with #1 and #2.

GBAtemp - Chrono Trigger DS - Copy Protection Fix
GBAtemp - Chrono Trigger DS - Copy Protection Fix (M3 Real Version)
I gotta tell you thanks again.

I used your first fix, but I have an M3 real....It worked past the first warp, but will I run into trouble later?

I guess I could always wait and change the rom if I do run into any problems.

Look at my post a few messages back. I added a special version of the patch for M3 Real users.

You'll probaly notice your first lockup at the Cathedral and several more after that. I'd recommend using my other patch immediately.

Someone posted a CycloDS cheat file a couple pages back. Get that.

Yes, I saw, and that's the problem that I'm describing in #3. The problem was that it looks like it disables my use of cheatcodes despite the fact that I enabled them, and I'm not sure why.

A " Chrono Trigger DS fix " ... you really are a GOD !!

* starts to worship you, every sunday *

the other updates are awesome btw

Sorry, I'm high and couldn't read past #1.

@Narin
I noticed that codes from other carts are a subset from M3Real codes. Is it save to assume that if I patch the ROM for M3Real it will work perfectly on any other carts?

My Cyclo is telling me that cheat codes are enabled now, so it will work. I don't know why it disabled them before even though I enabled them, but that's cool, I figured it out now.

Now I'm going to lay around and not sleep just to play it.

Ok here folks, I made a partial update to the Cheat database here:
http://cheats.gbatemp.net
It only includes new cheats for Chrono Trigger (J) including the game fix codes. There will be a bigger update in a little bit with cheats for other games.

I tried using that, but the patched.nds file is 0kb. What am I doing wrong?

Using BelmontSlayer's patch, it freezes at the startup screen: "Initializing save file memory. Do not turn the power OFF."

Supercard DS-One latest firmware.
