Why are you renaming ANYTHING? The cheats don't require rename, nor do your .nds files.

Another alternative is to use YSMenu on the R4DS which I highly recommend. You can use the usrcheat.dat on it with no problems at all, you don't need to edit the cheat file and soon. Also it doesn't have the bugs the R4 has with some codes not working.

Narin, does that mean that using usrcheat.dat on an R4 actually has problems? I had no idea

I just heard that it worked on R4 and I gave mine to a friend who didn't know about the GBAtemp.

when i was twelve i was copying games from catridge to work on 1.44" floppy disc (snes) and messing with DOS games~!
no help given too~! sob sob~!

unlike now with internet, popping a question and answers will come~!

why not just put compile your own .dat~! remove those unnecessary games~! and make sure the ID is correct~!
if still can't work then don't cheat or just make sure you are doing everything correctly~!
follow the steps that curley got for you..~! i believe you can find this site.. meaning you are somehow computer literate enough to do identify your own mistakes

Lol when I was 13, i was requesting help from a bloke who calls himself Curley5959 and he was really amazingly helpful, but some of the software on my computer did not match the amazingly powerful stuff he had xD

A Master of Monster Dungeon warning/instructions

WARNING AND INSTRUCTIONS
The guide codes will mess up your game if you mess around with the guides then it will freeze and possibly corrupt your save so just put it in and save and turn it off.

The Max/Inf Health/MP only does INF health/MP.

The Max everything code will reset from 999 to 255 if you feed Owen so dont feed him if you want to keep the stats without having the code on.

The Infinite shovel MP V2 works on my game but not the INF Shovel MP code.

The Eat at anytime code allows you to eat as much as you want. (Night Only)

The Complete Item puts all of the story items into your storage so back up your game save before you use this code or you will not be able to encounter any monsters because the game thinks that you have already done everything so along with previously said information it gives you all of the dialogue that you should get at certain points of the game.

ADDITION

First monster codes makes all monsters the monster that you chose from the list as long as its only one monster you fight at a time but if you fight a few monsters at once it will make 1-3 monsters what you chose. So far it is usually 2.
This is great if you didnt use the Complete Item cheat because you can use this to help you advance faster rather than not advancing at all.
