You can easily check that yourself by using the Cheat Code Editor (r4cce). Simply open the patched rom file on your pc and note it's ID, then using r4cce is also open the cheat file to ensure it's the same ID. If different, I think you only need to alter the rom ID in r4cce so it's the same as the cheat database (or vice versa).

Hm the "from the abyss" cheats don't work :/
I've got a R4 with newest firmware and i can select the cheats, but e.g. the money code freezes my game when i want to go into the menu. also the hp/sp, stats and level cheats don't do anything... i don't suppose anyone could help me out?
