My cpu doesn't work with the AR DS cheatfiles. all i want is the codes and then i'll leave you guys alone!

Open up the cheat.dat with the R4CCE app. If you can't do that, too bad.

It's a very good tool to read and edit cheatfiles. Links to it can be found in the forums

Yasu, the creator of the r4cce08 does not like people hotlinking his program, So if i were you I would take that link down.. This is how he did not allow his programs to the public earlier in the year and why most of his site is in another language.. So if you dont mind, you better remove it and just post a link to his site

Hi, I've downloaded the CHEAT.DAT file and put it onto my R4, and it works fine, but for some reason, not lall the games in the .DAT file show up as CHEAT(Y) on the R4. Any ideas why? Specifically Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (U) for example.

The answer may well be in this topic, but at 198 pages, it's a bit long to trawl through! Apologies of it has already been answered, but my 8 yr old wants his COD4 cheats!

Yes, this happens alot because there's just too many cheats in the file. Just use R4 Cheat Code Editor (R4 CCE) to erase the codes that you don't need from the CHEAT.DAT file and it should work.

How do you remove cheats you don't want from the file? There are a lot of games I don't play which have cheats and I was thinking maybe I could reduce the file size by removing some cheats for games I don't play. I've heard it was possible.

Just use the UE file.. Thats if you dont play any J games.. Its easier..

I check Kodewerx, Codejunkies and DS Coders several times a day so its almost guaranteed that I will have codes from those sites. So for the most part, its not really necessary to post them as I most likely already have included them in the cheat database.
