I've added the latest cheat file on my CycloDS. I've been trying to use Trauma Center 2 cheat but the option never appears when I choose the game.

Anyone have any idea?

Hi all. This is my first post. I've been working on writing programs to help using the SCDS 1. I've made a program to help maintain the ndsinfo.dat and now I'm working on writing a program to convert Narin's cheats.xml file to a bunch of .scc files. I have figured out the .scc file structure. Now I was wondering what features Narin and the people here at GBAtemp.net would like the program to do. I'll post the programs when they are finnished.

Progress at this point in time.
XMLtoSCC.exe:
reads and interprets cheats.xml. done.
reads ndsinfo.dat. done.
saves ... as a .scc file. done.
the name of save files is the release number in ndsinfo.dat that matches the first 4 letter of .... done.
the save location is .\Cheats\ of where the XMLtoSCC.exe is located.
needs ndsinfo.dat and cheats.xml in the same folder as XMLtoSCC.exe

NDSInfoEditor:
reads ndsinfo.dat.. done.
add new games to ndsinfo.dat. done.
delete games from ndsinfo.dat. done.
edit games in ndsinfo.dat done.

things that ndsinfoeditor.exe will edit in ndsinfo.dat

Save size
Game Title
game Serial. used to match roms to .scc

Here's an idea I thought might be worth considering....

Could possibly a script/editor be run on the xml file to short label common phrases... level-lv Maxium-Mx ect.... this would make .scc cheats far more useable because of the bad interface.

What can be done about the way the sc-cheat engine handles #codes i dunno tho, 50+ options cycled by the 'a' button with only a few charcters to play with is a real deal-breaker.

for me, I always make my own .txt cheatfile on m3real, it's the most simple cheatfile to create and edit

nope..Datel already posting codes from the DB on their website without permissions from NDS hackers like gardevor and Hiei-YYH ..guess people missed my msg a few pages back
