There's still something wrong with the sub, when I click on the thing to open the list of codes it says load failed.

Try now, it works for me. The problem is, my upload rate is slow and the AR DS subscription file is the last to be uploaded and its a 10-11 megabyte file so it takes a while to upload.

Ok, it works now, thanks Narin. I just a bit impatient sometimes to get at all the new codes.

I just updated with this patch but there are a few problems.

First of all, I don't see the updated Soma Bringer codes at all. (No Y appears for this R4 user)
The Soma Bringer however, is patched by DarthNemesis for the English Translation.

Also, my Pokemon Platinum (J) used to have cheats but then when this update came they're not there anymore.

I have already applied the r4bugfix and still to no avail.

Any help?

For patched games, I tend to update their Game IDs to the very latest patch available. So if you don't have the same exact patch for the corresponding Game ID I included, the cheats won't show up. You just have to use R4CCE to update your cheat file so the Game IDs match your games. In R4CCE, select the Game and click on the [...] button to the right and then select your game and thats all.

For R4DS users and its clones
The R4DS contains a flaw that prevents some cheats from working on it. Though luckily there is a fix! Thanks to Yasu, the creator of R4CCE, there is a patch for the R4DS kernel that makes the cheats work. The program is called r4bugfix2 and you can get it on Yasu's English software page here. Its easy enough to use, all you have to do is simply drop your _DS_MENU.DAT file from the R4 kernel on the r4bugfix.exe program. and it will patch it. Alternately, you can copy the file to the same folder as the r4bugfix file and click the execute. Afterwards, place the patched _DS_MENU.DAT file on your flashcart. Also, as with updating your firmware, I suggest deleting the _DS_MENU.SYS file and allow the R4DS to recreate it to prevent problems.

Note: You can find the pre-patched _DS_MENU.DAT file here for the R4DS 1.18 kernel.

For those having problems with some games not showing up like Yu-Gi-Oh its due to a bug/limit in your flashcart (R4, M3 Simply, ect) and you have a few options.

I also suggest using YSMenu, a replacement firmware for the R4DS which offers better game compatibility, features and also has better cheat support. YSMenu doesn't cut off any of the cheats and displays all the cheats for all the games and don't have the problems the R4DS has with some cheats.

Because i tried patching the _DS_MENU.DAT and it doesn't help. It still doesn't show all the cheats. I PM'd Narin but he doesn't seem to got my PM. He turned it off?

i have this problem that my R4 doesn't show all the cheats.
i tried to move the games i need to the top with R4cce but it takes so long untill the games i need, are on top.
is there a way to do it faster? maybe with another program?
or maybe i can export cheats from the database so i can make my own?

Hi, I have been referred here from another thread...

I have a NDSTT am new to cheating on the DS. wondering if someone can help me with getting cheats to work. Have had a look through the forum and tried all things suggested.

- Official 1.17 firmware from www.ndstt.com
- Games are copies to a "Games" folder
- Cheat codes are enabled for each game
- There are cheat codes selected and i can see cheats for eac game (e.g. infinite lives)
- have tried L+R+START+UP to enable them in-game
- have tried both the official USRCHEAT.DAT and the gbatemp one

Have I forgotten something?
I have tried with the following games:
1043 - bubble bobble revolution
1704 - mario party ds
1551 - phoenix wright trils and tribulations

Does anyone else have this problem?

another reason why the patched version of ragnarok DS is not included in the .dat
it is because after patching the game 95% of the codes will not work

so i would suggest don't waste your time

umm.. i downloaded the latest .dat file.. the infinite hp stil doesn't work.. maybe your right that it wasn't updated..
