This might sound like a weird request, and I don't know if it's even possible, but it's something that's important to me as a long-time fan of the Ys games.

In Ys 1&2 DS, there are two control modes. One of them lets you use the dpad to move, but then you have to press a button to swing your sword to attack. The other control mode lets you drag the stylus to move, and enables the classic "ram to attack" mode where you just ram into enemies at the right angle to damage them. I was just wondering if it is possible to make a code where you can move with the dpad, but ram into enemies. I figured it might be possible to add dpad movement to the stylus mode, since there are codes kind of like this for Phantom Hourglass, that enable dpad movement.

Hey Narin, for Dragon Quest V are you and your team making stat code for the rest of characters since all there is right now is the stat codes for the Hero and Bianca. Just curious, if not, no big deal.

Elixer...i know how it works.. but as i ppopsted somedaysago... it crashes evrytime i try to open a cheat databas(cheatlist file)... thats why i can't work with it! iworked with it alot inthe begining.. but it wont anymore...

Try downloading a new cheat.dat, or get a new R4CCE from here.

See if it works after that. Besides, Narin probably posts them up there so that he can add all the codes from the same place.

It shouldn't really matter much; Narin has included the patched version's Game ID in his database so that it will work. If it doesn't, just go to Curley's thread here and follow the instructions to change the Game ID.

i remember when i use cheat code editor always give me headache after switching to r4cce everthing is ok

if r4cce still crashes whenever you open.. i guess then you have to wait for the update

as i mentioned earlier on as, we got many other games to work with, hope you understand!
It will be HAVOC for Narin to update whenever a game is out

use the r4cce . . . function find out your game's ID and change accordingly~! SAVE and you are ready to go
hope patching the game will not change the addresses as well ~! if that is the case then the cheats won't work

you don't patch the game with N5... you patch the game with DSATM + piracy bypass code!

I was trying to get the entire cheat list to work, actually, not just Chrono Trigger. I patched the DS_Menu.DAT with Yasu's whatchamacallit and it still didn't work...

well? i am not familar with N5...i will assume it is a r4 clone

you can use the codes directly from the cheat.dat (if cheat.dat doesn't work then use usrcheat.dat)
and
if using the piracy bypass code from the .dat doesn't work for you.. all you need to do is patch the game with the piracy bypass code and enable other codes as usual
