Hey, I have a few questions regarding the new backup loading method:
1- Has anyone gotten banned from using this yet?
2- If I use this method and try to launch the donor game on OFW, does the original game load or the backup?
3- How do I return my overwritten game back to normal?
I want to use this method but still be able to play my own online games on OFW and idk if thats possible, thats why im asking.

1 - No clue
2 - As layered FS basically symlinks the files to your sd card, the original files are still intact. if you boot OFW, the original game will boot as there is no Layered FS to symlink the files.
3 - your original game is fine, but to remove the overwriting game, simply delete it from your SD

1 - Probably not, we'd be hearing about it everywhere. Don't go online, though. That's madness.
2 - The original one.
3 - Well, when on OFW, it'll run as normal. You can always delete the files you placed on the SD card too.

if u use fortnite as your donor and you go into horizon to play it you can get banned

Well, that is a bit off. Its actually dependent on the game you replace it with. Playing fortnite in OFW wont ban you. Playing another game using its cert in cfw will ban you.

yeah thats what I mean if I play the downloaded fortnite will I get banned even though I used it for layeredfs

Yes, you're safe then.
No, not quite. When you close off the game, it crashes the console and errors out.
Presumably, when this error occurs, it gets logged by Nintendo and when you connect online at any point, this is sent to Nintendo and they then know when you have done this, and follow up with a ban.
Do not presume you are safe if you stay offline.

Good chance of ban eventually, we don't know for sure yet tho, very good chance of ban if you go online with a backup.

Yeah, I meant that if you use your switch completely offline you're safe.
