Even crazier; someone I know who lived in a state that _requires_ a license and is said to be very strict on how they are issued gave him one when he turned eighteen...he never had to take any driver's test (written and the driving portion) or any courses; we still are trying to contemplate how that slipped through the cracks. He went back and took the test to get the license _months_ after they already gave him the offical state one (which works nationwide) at the DMV.By the way on most states of USA you DO NOT require a license to drive A NON commercial vehicle. it is a misconception generalized what you need a license to drive a personal vehicle, so much what most of the officers do not know and if you show the prove on the law they tell is not true even if they are reading that on black and white.
