What if someone played/or watched a bit from the show, the first few episodes maybe and knows the initial premise as well as where the lead characters are going, & the main factions in this universe, but haven't played/ seen the whole thing..

Its called "Spoiler with context". It only becomes spoiler if you have the context where the spoilers takes place.
Most spoilers like this are "spoiler with context". An actual spoiler would be "This character dies at the end of the game/season". For that, you don't need context to be spoiled.
