Wonder if this would smell better or worse than Elden Ring's scarlet rot swamp.

Every few years a graphics designer comes along who "invents" smell-o-vision, a synth-o-smell-izer, an aroma-inator, what have you, "it's a printer for aromas, send smells over the internet" and so on; garners attention, gets a few graphics design awards, before people remember scents don't work like colors, you can't get any smell ever from just three "basic" smells, there's a few thousand "basic" aromatic compounds and you'd need all of them, and the whole idea is forgotten until next time.

But it would be possible to have a scratch-and-sniff booklet to go with a game, book, etc.
Each level could have its own fragrance.

Or stench, for the sewer levels

When I try to be fast for the sake of fast it often doesn't work (anymore) but I noticed I am faster when angry....
