NTSC should run 60, but OoT was so intensive it could only run properly when drawing every 3rd frame - thus 20

Pal 16-17 is just 50/3
60 interlaced, that's 30 unique frames per second (50/25 in the third world :tpi: )

I looked it up, apparently the majority of N64 games ran at lower framerates, only seven titles ran at a full 30 fps.

Motion blur? Because it looks smoother than a series of perfectly sharp images. Movies get by on 24 frames per second and nobody bats an eye. But if a game only ran at 24 fps everyone would lose their mind.
Right, but we're at the point where even consoles are 60 FPS in performance mode, high-end PCs at 120+ FPS. Motion blur just obscures textures and art direction which had a lot of work put into them. At the very least it should be disabled instead of enabled by default.
